“When the Flowers Dance” Anticlastic Cuff Bracelet. $575. SOLD.

When the spirits hold ceremony is when the flowers dance. It’s a way of understanding wind and light, and Wings brings them all together in a near-hoop of looping petals and graceful sloping silver. The cuff’s band is shaped through anticlastic forging, creating a long, elegantly concave top side, band edges rising just enough to refract the light, its sides tapering gradually at either end. The outer surface of the band is hand-milled in a boldly whorled floral pattern, long slender petals radiating out in sharp relief from spiraled centers. The whole cuff is oxidized to accentuate the millwork pattern, then buffed to a glowing finish just a shade off Florentine. Cuff is 6.25″ long by 1″ across at the widest point, tapering to 11/16″ at the ends (dimensions approximate). Other views shown below.
