Spring is the season when the water greets the sunniest of days, the time when, by way of a warming world, the dewdrop returns to the dawn. Wings honors dewdrop, grass, light, and dawn sky with these earrings in a cascade of new color. At the top, faceted rondels of rainbow moonstone embrace, first, a giant Dumortierite orb in the shade of the receding dark, then a slightly smaller sphere of white-lip mother-of-pearl shell, like the iridescent clouds that break across the sunrise sky. The lower half of each earring consists of a gradient of water, light, and green blades of grass: shimmering chatoyant selenite, sunny faceted citrine, and electric chrome diopside. All are strung on filament-thin sterling silver round wire. Earrings hang 2-1/4″ long, excluding wires (dimensions approximate). Designed jointly by Wings and Aji.
