To grow and thrive, flowers instinctively turn their faces toward the warm radiance of the sun’s gaze. Wings has captured the same dynamic here with a pair of earrings that remind us similarly to seek out warmth and light. Each big, bold drop begins with a sterling silver concha in the shape of a perfect flat hoop, ringed with blossoming wildflowers. At the midpoint of each concha, a hand-cut brass medallion is affixed, its form hinting at the shape of an hourglass, a reminder of the passage of time and the cycle of the sun; each medallion is edged, top and bottom, in the same hand-stamped blossom pattern. At the center of each medallion, nestled in a saw-toothed bezel, a single citrine cabochon glows with the golden warmth of Father Sun himself. Each concha is 1.5″ across; each brass medallion is 1.25″ long; each cabochon is 5/8″ across; total earring length is 1.75″, excluding wires (dimensions approximate).
