This is the season of summer lightning, of the rumble of nearby thunder and the electricity of the storm. With these earrings, Wings harnesses them all into a pair of elegant sterling silver hoops stamped down their length in old traditional patterns. Each earring is formed of lightweight sterling silver in the form of mixed half-round, pattern, and bead wire: Plain and convex at the wider center, edged on either side in tiny repeating pattern in the shape of rounded beads. At either end, a layered motif in the shape of a traditional arrow points in opposing directions; in between, shorter arrows whose shafts zigzag in lightning-bolt form, their serrated path picking up the shimmer of bead-like edges of the hoops. Each earring is shaped gently by hand and hangs from a sterling silver post held securely by a sterling silver butterfly back. Hoops are 3-14″ long by 1/4″ wide (dimensions approximate).
