From the protective shelter of seed and shell the small spirits of summer grow. Wings gathers shelter and spirits together in these dancing drops, strung on sterling silver wire beneath sterling silver earring wires. Each earring is anchored at either end by a pair of tiny silver-colored African metal beads and four small pen-shell heishi rondels. At the center of each sits a spectacular free-form bead, roughly rectangular in shape and gracefully curved, of iridescent abalone shell, flanked first by a rounded rondel of Labradorite with soft green undertones, and second by a small round sphere of brilliant rose-colored tourmaline.
