Summer brings us the gifts of sand and sea, of coral reefs and mollusk shells in a cascade of fire and light. Wings weds coral and shell, sand and sea, fire and light all at once in these dangling bead drops, each strung on sterling silver wire and anchored by sterling silver earring wires. At top and bottom sit single small round orbs of golden mother-of-pearl shell, peach marbled with white and beautifully iridescent. At the center of each rests a single large sphere of white mother-of-pearl shell, luminous as a full moon. In the spaces between sit paired free-form nuggets of highly polished Mediterranean coral, highly textured yet silky smooth and robed in the fiery red of the midsummer sun.
