Our world orbits in a circle of light, around the sun, inside the moon, and embraced by the shimmering dust of a million ancient stars. With this cuff, Wings honors the sun’s blue and gold fire and the moon’s icy shimmer, both bookending and set between the silvered arc of a whole half-spiraled galaxy. Wrought of heavy-gauge sterling silver half-round wire, the entire band is stamped in old-style traditional arrow motifs, layered and pointing forward and backward, their direction irrelevant to the larger work of the cosmos. This cuff opens atop the wrist instead of beneath it, the ends slightly offset, each one set with a spectacular high-domed cabochon of Labradorite, gold in some lights, bright blue in others, always aglow with the mysteries of the skies. Band is 6″ long by 5/16″ across; Labradorite cabochons are each 3/8″ across; gap differential between outer edges of cabochons is 1″ (all dimensions approximate). Other views shown below.
