In this place, a winter’s fire finds its fully actualized form in the bonfire, a beacon that heralds the holidays and calls us home. Wings gives form and shape to this seasonal phenomenon in phenomenally beautiful fashion with this spiral of coiling gemstone flame. At the very center sit four rough and rustic, lightly polished citrine nuggets, their jagged edges reaching skyward like the uppermost tips of the bonfire’s flames. They are flanked on either side by single large orbs of fossilized coral, marbled and mottled like the falling snow and serving as separators between the segments that extend outward: large round polished sardonyx beads in flame orange and crimson and reds near as dark as blackened soot. More fossilized coral links them to segments of high-grade fire agate spheres in two sizes, each marbled with snowy white and crackling with coral and crimson flame. The smaller fire agate rounds are split into pairs, each duo separated by a blazing freeform nugget of Baltic amber. Beads are strung on memory wire, which expands and contracts to fit nearly any wrist. Designed jointly by Wings and Aji. Side view shown below. Bracelet coordinates with Embers necklace and Kindling earrings.
