With these classic concha earrings, Wings honors the blue, the sky, the light, and the ethereal beauty of season, time, and place. Each drop is formed of a hand-punched medallion of sterling silver, lightly domed into a concha in the traditional way, repoussé-fashion. Four old-style radiant sunrise motifs arc across the center; above them, at opposite sides in a mirror-image effect, sits a single round cabochon of Kingman turquoise in a flawlessly clear sky blue, each set into a plain silver bezel. Hand-drilled holes at the top center allow them to hang suspended from sterling silver coil-and-ball-bead French earring wires. Each earring, domed, is 7/8″ across in all directions; each stone is 3/16″ across (dimensions approximate).
