There is light to guide us at each end of the night. With these classic concha earrings, Wings evokes the circle of the sky, the glow of dawn and dusk, and the perfect black of the dark hours. Each drop is formed of a sterling silver medallion, hand-punched in a perfect circle and domed into a concha in the traditional way, repoussé-fashion. Four old-style radiant-sun motifs stretch across the center of each earring in a gentle arc, while a single small round onyx cabochon, the color of night, sits in a simple bezel, offset in mirror image from each other. Hand-drilled holes at the top center allow them to hang suspended from sterling silver coil-and-ball-bead French earring wires. Each earring, domed, is 7/8″ across in all directions; each stone is 3/16″ across (dimensions approximate).
